Life Coaching is a new and rapidly growing profession intended to help you improve the quality of your life. Coaching is a powerful partnership that focuses on helping you achieve the goals that you define. Active listening, thought-provoking questioning, empowering questions and personal support are just some of the ways that a coach can help you realize your full potential. How it works... - Identify what you really want. Coaching sessions are conducted over the telephone, with each session lasting 45 minutes. In each session, you choose the focus of discussion, while I listen, encourage and challenge you to move into action. Please think of coaching as a process because change happens over time. Many people create change for themselves in a short time, in order to refine and sustain the changes takes several months, which is why you should expect to commit to a minimum of 3 to 6 months of coaching, changing to month-to-month afterwards. The coach-client relationship is completely confidential.
Coaching helps you take your life from where you are to where you want to be. It’s about achieving your desired results far greater and faster then you expected. Imagine having someone by your side to see, hear, listen and motivate you.
"Tele-coaching" is the standard practice of coaching because of its’ efficiency, allowing you to be coached from the convenience of your own home or office. Once we've decided to work together, we will set up our initial coaching session. During this time we will:
- Assess your current opportunities, challenges and beliefs.
- Establish the specific outcomes you'd like to achieve.
- Define the scope of our coaching relationship.
What is NLP?
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming
Neuro – The nervous system through which we experience life is processed via five senses:
Visual (see)
Auditory (hear)
Kinesthetic (touch & feel)
Olfactory (smell)
Gustatory (taste)
Linguistic – How you communicate, verbally and non-verbally. Language and other nonverbal communication systems through which our internal representations are coded, ordered and given meaning. Includes:
Pictures
Sounds
Feelings
Tastes
Smells
Words (Self Talk / Internal dialogue)
Programming – The ability to discover and utilize the programs that we run (our communication to ourselves and others) in our neurological systems to achieve our specific and desired outcomes. In other words the way you act based on your thought patterns and emotional state.
NLP is the science and technology of how to get what you want. NLP engages your nervous system by creating an emotional response in the body based on a thought. Your actions are the direct results of your thoughts, beliefs and emotions. By shifting your perception you can transform your life. In other words, NLP is how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve your specific and desired outcomes. A fun acronym for NLP is New Learning Patterns.
What is EFT?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a new discovery that has provided people with relief from emotional issues. It is a unique version of acupuncture except you do not use needles. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process is easy to memorize and you can do it anywhere.
How does EFT work?
EFT is based on the idea that all negative emotions are caused by a disruption in the body’s energy system. In EFT specific energy points of the face, chest and hands are gently tapped with fingertips (by the client) in a specific pattern while the client focuses on their specific issue. EFT does not erase the memory of the issue, but it can decrease or eliminate the emotions associated with the issue. It is possible to attain relief in just a few minutes and results can be long lasting. EFT can be easily learned to use for your own self-care.
